Welcome to Fit Over 50, Portland’s Strength and Conditioning class for seniors.
It’s never too late to start.
Strength and resistance training is very important for all age groups, but it’s especially important for older adults to add weight lifting to their routine if they haven’t yet. Here’s why:

Maintaining muscle is essential for everyday activities like carrying groceries, climbing stairs, and getting up from the floor. Strength training ensures you stay capable and confident in your body.

About Fit Over 50
Our 50+ program in Portland, Oregon is suitable for clients with a wide range of abilities and exercise experience; beginners and first time exercisers are welcome! Paula strives to bring accessible, creative, and fun modifications to functional exercises that will increase strength, mobility, balance, and coordination.
Your coach Paula will lead each one-hour long class that includes includes a warm up, mobility and stretching, movement prep and explanation, and a strength and conditioning workout. We have class times on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30-11:30 in the morning, and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:30-2:30.
